Swaderki in Warmia

Swaderki is a small village with 15 homesteads and 3 lakes. It is surrounded by pine forests and is one of the most attractive places in the region around the town of Olsztyn.

Orzechowo

We recommend the beautiful walk to Orzechowo. The path leads through the forest and covers a distance of about 4 km (there and back). Orzechowo has an interesting, large church in a unique setting.

River Marózki to the Holy Lake

This path follows the river through exceptional scenery to the lake.

Day-trip from Ostroda to Elblag by boat

From 1st May to end September) Ostroda is 35 km from Swaderki. This trip provides a totally unique experience. The boat ride is along canals and across a lake. Along the canals, the boat will change level by over 100 metres. A shorter version of the trip can be taken by getting off at any of the stopping points (Miłomłyn, Małdyty, Buczyniec, Iława).

Swimming in the lakes

There are 3 lakes in Swaderki. The nicest one to bathe in is Maróz with its sandy shores.

Boating, kayaking

A rowing boat and kayak are available for you to use.

Horse-riding

There is a small riding stable in Kurki (6km away from Swaderek).

Mushroom picking

The surrounding forests are excellent for mushrooms.

Swimming pool

There is a swimming pool in Mierki (Kołatek) in the Peroz complex which is 5 km from Swaderek.

Mountain biking

Mountain bikes are available to hire. One of the bikes can be fitted with a professional childrens seat (for children upto 18kg in weight). We also have a bike for the use of small children.

Animals

Children can visit our domestic animals (goats, sheep, geese, rabbits) in a special enclosure. We can also give your children animal feed so that they can feed the animals.

Barbecue kits are available for use whilst nearby, where the river runs into the lake, there is the ideal place for having a larger barbecue.
